Why does Aarthi Scans & Labs offer services at low prices?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, we strongly believe that the cost of diagnosing a disease should never push a patient into financial hardship or make their treatment unaffordable. Unfortunately, the high cost of diagnostic services across the country often leads to delayed diagnoses, unaffordable tests, and limited access to advanced facilities leaving millions vulnerable.

Our vision is simple yet powerful; no one should suffer because a diagnosis is out of reach. To make this a reality, we have consistently kept our pricing 50–60% lower than the industry average, especially for essential services like MRI, CT, and blood tests. We also provide reduced pricing during night hours, further easing access for patients.

Over the last 36 years, it has been the trust of our patients, their word of mouth, and our unwavering commitment to delivering advanced, compassionate diagnostics that have helped us scale and sustain this model. By combining exceptional diagnostic capabilities with affordability, we continue to fight for a healthcare system where early, accurate diagnosis is accessible to all.

How does Aarthi Scans and Labs offer Services at a lower cost?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, affordability is at the heart of our vision:“The cost to diagnose a disease should not make a patient poor, that their treatment becomes unaffordable.” Guided by this principle, we have priced our scans and blood tests 50–60% lower than the market rate, without compromising on quality or accuracy.

    We achieve this through:

    Profit by volume & scale

Serving a large patient base allows us to keep costs low and pass on the benefit directly to patients.

    Efficient use of technology

Automation and digital workflows reduce manual work in reporting, improving speed while cutting costs.

    In-house management

Our leadership operates with in-depth knowledge of local needs, ensuring effective and cost-conscious operations.

    Right-sized infrastructure

We invest wisely in facilities and real estate, avoiding unnecessary overheads.

    Frugal spending

Every rupee is spent with care, prioritizing patient benefit over extravagance.

    Zero-kickback policy

We ensure that our savings is passed directly to the patients instead of intermediaries.

    X-ray Pelvis

An X-ray Pelvis captures the hip bones and pelvic joints, helping diagnose fractures, arthritis, or dislocations. The scan duration is 5–10 minutes, with the report ready in 6 hours. It costs ₹300–₹400 and involves low radiation exposure under strict safety control.

    What is an X-ray Pelvis?

A Pelvis x-ray refers to the medical imaging of the Pelvic bones under an X-ray beam. It is non-invasive, painless, and quick. A Pelvis x-ray helps healthcare professionals visualize the bones of the pelvic region like ilium, ischium, pubis, hip joints, sacrum, and coccyx. The patient is laid on their back on the X-ray table, and the pelvic area is positioned under the x-ray scanner.

A pelvic x-ray is used when a person experiences pain, swelling, or other issues in the pelvic area. It helps to diagnose abnormalities in the hip joints, arthritis, dislocations, fractures, and detect foreign objects in the pelvis

When and why is an X-ray Pelvis done?

An X-ray Pelvis is performed to examine the hip bones, sacrum, and lower spine connection. It helps diagnose fractures, dislocations, arthritis, or hip joint deformities. Doctors recommend it for patients with pelvic pain, injury, or difficulty walking.

What happens before an X-ray Pelvis?

Before your X-ray Pelvis scan, our radiographer will review your medical history and understand the reason for the test — such as hip pain, injury, suspected fracture, or joint stiffness. You will be asked to remove any metallic objects like jewelry, belts, coins, or clothing with zippers and buttons, as these can interfere with the X-ray image.

If you are pregnant or think you might be, please inform the radiographer before the procedure so that suitable safety precautions can be taken or an alternative scan can be suggested.

No fasting or special preparation is required for a pelvis X-ray. You can eat, drink, and take your regular medications as advised. Wearing loose, comfortable clothing or a hospital gown will make the process easier and faster.

What happens during an X-ray Pelvis?

During the scan, you will be guided to the X-ray room and asked to lie on your back on the examination table. The radiographer will carefully position your legs, often with your feet slightly turned inward, to get a clear image of your hip joints and pelvic bones.

The X-ray beam will pass through your pelvis to a digital detector or X-ray plate placed beneath you. You may be asked to stay still and hold your breath for a few seconds while the image is taken to ensure sharp results.

The procedure is quick, safe, and painless — typically completed within 5–10 minutes. Only a minimal and medically safe amount of radiation is used to produce detailed images of your pelvic bones, joints, and surrounding structures.

What happens after an X-ray Pelvis?

After the scan, you can immediately resume your normal activities. There are no side effects, discomfort, or recovery time needed. If you were asked to wear a gown, you can change back into your clothes right away.

The captured images will be analyzed by our radiologist to check for any fractures, joint misalignment, arthritis, or other abnormalities.

A detailed report will be prepared and shared with your referring doctor or orthopaedician, who will discuss the findings with you and suggest appropriate treatment or follow-up if necessary.

Who shouldn’t get an X-ray Pelvis?

    • There are some restrictions to who can get a Chest x-ray, and they are:
    • Patients with injuries to the pelvic area
    • Obese patients
    • Patients with medical conditions that can aggravate when exposed to x-ray radiation
