Why does Aarthi Scans & Labs offer services at low prices?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, we strongly believe that the cost of diagnosing a disease should never push a patient into financial hardship or make their treatment unaffordable. Unfortunately, the high cost of diagnostic services across the country often leads to delayed diagnoses, unaffordable tests, and limited access to advanced facilities leaving millions vulnerable.

Our vision is simple yet powerful; no one should suffer because a diagnosis is out of reach. To make this a reality, we have consistently kept our pricing 50–60% lower than the industry average, especially for essential services like MRI, CT, and blood tests. We also provide reduced pricing during night hours, further easing access for patients.

Over the last 36 years, it has been the trust of our patients, their word of mouth, and our unwavering commitment to delivering advanced, compassionate diagnostics that have helped us scale and sustain this model. By combining exceptional diagnostic capabilities with affordability, we continue to fight for a healthcare system where early, accurate diagnosis is accessible to all.

How does Aarthi Scans and Labs offer Services at a lower cost?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, affordability is at the heart of our vision:“The cost to diagnose a disease should not make a patient poor, that their treatment becomes unaffordable.” Guided by this principle, we have priced our scans and blood tests 50–60% lower than the market rate, without compromising on quality or accuracy.

    We achieve this through:

    Profit by volume & scale

Serving a large patient base allows us to keep costs low and pass on the benefit directly to patients.

    Efficient use of technology

Automation and digital workflows reduce manual work in reporting, improving speed while cutting costs.

    In-house management

Our leadership operates with in-depth knowledge of local needs, ensuring effective and cost-conscious operations.

    Right-sized infrastructure

We invest wisely in facilities and real estate, avoiding unnecessary overheads.

    Frugal spending

Every rupee is spent with care, prioritizing patient benefit over extravagance.

    Zero-kickback policy

We ensure that our savings is passed directly to the patients instead of intermediaries.

    X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View

An X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View helps examine the bones and alignment of the neck vertebrae, often recommended for neck pain or injury. The procedure lasts 5–10 minutes, and the report is ready within 6 hours. The cost is ₹275, and the radiation exposure is low, kept well within medical safety standards.

What is an X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View?

A Cervical Spine lateral view is a non-invasive and painless imaging technique that displays the seven vertebrae of the neck. Doctors use this type of x-ray to diagnose a variety of conditions like injuries, abnormalities, and degenerative changes. A Cervical Spine lateral view exposes the vertebrae from C1-C7 and is captured from the side of the neck.

A cervical spine lateral view helps in assessing the curvature and alignment of the cervical spine. It is usually affected by conditions like scoliosis and degenerative disc diseases. Additionally, the x-ray also exposes tumors, bone spurs, and other abnormalities and diagnoses spondylitis, and arthritis.

When and why is an X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View done?

An X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View is performed to visualize the side view of the neck vertebrae. It helps detect disc degeneration, alignment problems, fractures, or cervical spondylosis. Doctors often recommend it for neck pain, stiffness, or injury due to trauma or posture issues.

What happens before an X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View?

Before your X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View, our radiographer will review your medical history, symptoms such as neck pain or stiffness, and any previous injuries or surgeries involving the cervical spine. You will be asked to remove metal items such as necklaces, earrings, hairpins, or clothing with zippers or buttons around the neck area, as these can affect image quality.

If you are pregnant or think you might be, please inform the radiographer before the procedure. Necessary precautions will be taken or an alternative imaging option may be suggested.

No fasting or special preparation is required for this scan. You can eat, drink, and continue your regular medications as advised. Wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing will help make the process easier and quicker.

What happens during an X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View?

During the test, you will be guided to the X-ray room and positioned either standing or sitting beside the X-ray machine. The lateral view means the X-ray beam passes from one side of your neck to the other, capturing a side profile of your cervical spine.

The radiographer will carefully position your head and shoulders to ensure proper alignment of the neck vertebrae. A digital detector or X-ray plate will be placed on the opposite side of your neck to capture the image.

You will be asked to remain still and hold your breath for a few seconds while the image is taken to avoid any motion blur. The procedure is completely painless, takes only a few minutes, and uses a very small, safe amount of radiation to obtain detailed images of your cervical spine.

What happens after an X-ray Cervical Spine Lateral View?

After the imaging, you can immediately resume your normal daily activities. There are no discomfort, downtime, or side effects associated with the procedure. If you changed into a gown for the scan, you may change back into your clothes right away.

The X-ray images will be carefully analyzed by our radiologist to identify any issues such as fractures, alignment abnormalities, disc space narrowing, or degenerative changes. A detailed report will then be prepared and sent to your referring doctor or orthopaedician, who will review the findings and discuss the next steps in your care if required.
