Why does Aarthi Scans & Labs offer services at low prices?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, we strongly believe that the cost of diagnosing a disease should never push a patient into financial hardship or make their treatment unaffordable. Unfortunately, the high cost of diagnostic services across the country often leads to delayed diagnoses, unaffordable tests, and limited access to advanced facilities leaving millions vulnerable.

Our vision is simple yet powerful; no one should suffer because a diagnosis is out of reach. To make this a reality, we have consistently kept our pricing 50–60% lower than the industry average, especially for essential services like MRI, CT, and blood tests. We also provide reduced pricing during night hours, further easing access for patients.

Over the last 36 years, it has been the trust of our patients, their word of mouth, and our unwavering commitment to delivering advanced, compassionate diagnostics that have helped us scale and sustain this model. By combining exceptional diagnostic capabilities with affordability, we continue to fight for a healthcare system where early, accurate diagnosis is accessible to all.

How does Aarthi Scans and Labs offer Services at a lower cost?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, affordability is at the heart of our vision:“The cost to diagnose a disease should not make a patient poor, that their treatment becomes unaffordable.” Guided by this principle, we have priced our scans and blood tests 50–60% lower than the market rate, without compromising on quality or accuracy.

    We achieve this through:

    Profit by volume & scale

Serving a large patient base allows us to keep costs low and pass on the benefit directly to patients.

    Efficient use of technology

Automation and digital workflows reduce manual work in reporting, improving speed while cutting costs.

    In-house management

Our leadership operates with in-depth knowledge of local needs, ensuring effective and cost-conscious operations.

    Right-sized infrastructure

We invest wisely in facilities and real estate, avoiding unnecessary overheads.

    Frugal spending

Every rupee is spent with care, prioritizing patient benefit over extravagance.

    Zero-kickback policy

We ensure that our savings is passed directly to the patients instead of intermediaries.

    MRI Cervical Spine Scan

An MRI Cervical Spine scan provides clear images of the neck and spinal cord to detect disc problems, nerve compression, or injuries. The scan usually takes 25 to 30 minutes, with the report available in 6 hours. It costs approximately ₹2,750–₹3,500 and carries no radiation risk, ensuring complete safety for patients.

What is an MRI Cervical Spine scan?

A cervical spine MRI is the medical imaging of the seven vertebrae of the neck and the soft tissues surrounding it. Additionally, it includes the spinal cord, nerves, and discs. A cervical MRI is a non-invasive and painless way to diagnose issues of the neck and the upper back.

When and why is an MRI Cervical Spine scan done?

An MRI Cervical Spine scan helps assess the neck region of the spine, including vertebrae, discs, spinal cord, and nerves. It’s often advised for neck pain, numbness in arms, disc bulge, spinal cord compression, or injuries. This scan clearly shows soft-tissue and nerve conditions that X-rays or CT scans may miss.

What happens before an MRI Cervical Spine scan?

Before your MRI cervical spine scan, our medical team will review your health history, including any implants, pacemakers, or prior surgeries, to ensure the procedure is safe for you. You will be asked to remove all metallic objects such as jewelry, belts, watches, and hair accessories, as these can interfere with the scan. In certain cases, a contrast dye may be given intravenously to better highlight specific areas of the spine and spinal cord. Unless instructed otherwise, you can continue with your normal diet and medications before the scan.

What happens during an MRI Cervical Spine scan?

During the scan, you will lie flat on a motorized table that slides into the MRI machine. A special coil will be positioned around your neck and upper back to capture detailed images of your cervical spine. It’s important to remain very still, as even small movements can blur the images. You may hear rhythmic tapping or thumping sounds from the scanner, which is completely normal; However, earplugs or headphones will be provided for comfort. The scan is painless and typically lasts 30–45 minutes. A trained technologist will monitor you throughout and can communicate with you at any time via intercom.

What happens after an MRI Cervical Spine scan?

Once the scan is complete, you can usually return to your daily routine immediately. If contrast dye was used, you may be advised to drink plenty of fluids to help clear it from your system. A radiologist will carefully review the images and prepare a detailed report of your cervical spine, which will be shared with your doctor. Reports are generally ready within a few hours to a day. Your doctor will then explain the results and guide you on the next steps, whether that involves further evaluation, treatment, or follow-up scans.

Who shouldn’t get an MRI Cervical Spine Scan?

    • Patients who are claustrophobic
    • Patients with medical implants like aneurysm clips and pacemakers
    • Pregnant women
    • Patients with kidney disorder if contrast dye is used
