At Aarthi Scans and Labs, we strongly believe that the cost of diagnosing a disease should never push a patient into financial hardship or make their treatment unaffordable. Unfortunately, the high cost of diagnostic services across the country often leads to delayed diagnoses, unaffordable tests, and limited access to advanced facilities leaving millions vulnerable.
Our vision is simple yet powerful; no one should suffer because a diagnosis is out of reach. To make this a reality, we have consistently kept our pricing 50–60% lower than the industry average, especially for essential services like MRI, CT, and blood tests. We also provide reduced pricing during night hours, further easing access for patients.
Over the last 36 years, it has been the trust of our patients, their word of mouth, and our unwavering commitment to delivering advanced, compassionate diagnostics that have helped us scale and sustain this model. By combining exceptional diagnostic capabilities with affordability, we continue to fight for a healthcare system where early, accurate diagnosis is accessible to all.
At Aarthi Scans and Labs, affordability is at the heart of our vision:“The cost to diagnose a disease should not make a patient poor, that their treatment becomes unaffordable.” Guided by this principle, we have priced our scans and blood tests 50–60% lower than the market rate, without compromising on quality or accuracy.
We achieve this through:

Serving a large patient base allows us to keep costs low and pass on the benefit directly to patients.

Automation and digital workflows reduce manual work in reporting, improving speed while cutting costs.

Our leadership operates with in-depth knowledge of local needs, ensuring effective and cost-conscious operations.

We invest wisely in facilities and real estate, avoiding unnecessary overheads.

Every rupee is spent with care, prioritizing patient benefit over extravagance.

We ensure that our savings is passed directly to the patients instead of intermediaries.

A CT Pulmonary Angiogram is performed to check for blood clots or blockages in the lungs. The scan takes 15–20 minutes, and the report is ready in 6 hours. The cost is ₹6,000, and although it uses contrast dye and controlled radiation, the procedure is considered safe and essential for accurate diagnosis.
A CT Pulmonary Angiogram Scan also known as CAT scan or computed tomography image is the medical imaging of the blood vessels inside the lungs. A combination of X-rays and a specialized CT console create and processes clear images of the blood vessels. For visualization purposes, a contrast dye is injected into the patient’s vein that travels to the pulmonary arteries and shows up on the CT scan.
This scan aids in diagnostic accuracy by providing a cross-sectional view of the blood vessels in thin slices. These slices make medical assessment easier, convenient, and effective in tracking subtle abnormalities within the structures. A CT Pulmonary Angiogram Scan is far more advanced than a conventional x-ray and detects clots and blockages in the pulmonary arteries.
A CT Pulmonary Angiogram (CTPA) is done to evaluate the blood vessels in the lungs. It helps detect pulmonary embolism (blood clots), vascular malformations, or lung artery blockages. Doctors recommend this scan when patients experience sudden shortness of breath, chest pain, or unexplained low oxygen levels. It provides rapid, life-saving diagnosis in emergency settings.
Before your CT Pulmonary Angiogram scan, our medical team will review your medical history, allergies, and any medications you are currently taking — especially those affecting kidney function or blood thinning. Since this scan uses an iodine-based contrast dye, you may be asked about any previous allergic reactions to contrast material. You’ll likely need to fast for 4–6 hours prior to the procedure to ensure accurate imaging. Before entering the scan room, you’ll be asked to remove any metal objects, such as jewelry, glasses, or belts, as they can interfere with the scan. Our technologist will explain the entire process and make sure you are comfortable and relaxed before the scan begins.
During the scan, you’ll lie comfortably on a motorized CT table that moves through the scanner, a short, circular machine. A small intravenous (IV) line will be inserted into your arm to administer the contrast dye, which helps visualize the pulmonary arteries and blood flow in your lungs. When the dye is injected, you may briefly feel a warm sensation or metallic taste, but this is completely normal and passes quickly. The scanner will rotate around your chest area, capturing high-resolution cross-sectional images of your lungs and blood vessels. You may be asked to hold your breath for a few seconds during the scan to minimize motion and ensure image clarity. The entire procedure is quick and painless, usually completed within 10–15 minutes. Throughout the scan, the technologist will monitor you closely and communicate with you via intercom.
After the scan, you can typically resume normal activities immediately. If contrast dye was used, you’ll be advised to drink plenty of water to help flush it out of your body. Some people may experience mild side effects like a warm feeling or slight bruising at the injection site, which usually subside quickly. The captured images will be reviewed by a specialized radiologist, who will prepare a detailed report highlighting any signs of pulmonary embolism, vascular abnormalities, or blockages in the lungs. The report will be sent to your referring doctor, who will discuss the findings and the next steps in your care plan.

ECG services were fast and quick much to the satisfaction by Roopa Overall blood sampling and Ultrasound test experience was fantastic and staff have been very supportive and caring through the whole process. Overall a great experience!!!!.
I took my mom for CECT full abdominal scan today. The senior technician (forgot the name) was very professional and dedicated. The procedure required my mom to hold the breathe for few seconds which she couldn’t do and scan was not done today. But the technician tried his best and comforted my mom. A big thanks for his support. Hopefully next time, she will be able to go through this. I really appreciate his efforts. Pricing and facilities are always good here. Reports are accurate.
