Why does Aarthi Scans & Labs offer services at low prices?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, we strongly believe that the cost of diagnosing a disease should never push a patient into financial hardship or make their treatment unaffordable. Unfortunately, the high cost of diagnostic services across the country often leads to delayed diagnoses, unaffordable tests, and limited access to advanced facilities leaving millions vulnerable.

Our vision is simple yet powerful; no one should suffer because a diagnosis is out of reach. To make this a reality, we have consistently kept our pricing 50–60% lower than the industry average, especially for essential services like MRI, CT, and blood tests. We also provide reduced pricing during night hours, further easing access for patients.

Over the last 36 years, it has been the trust of our patients, their word of mouth, and our unwavering commitment to delivering advanced, compassionate diagnostics that have helped us scale and sustain this model. By combining exceptional diagnostic capabilities with affordability, we continue to fight for a healthcare system where early, accurate diagnosis is accessible to all.

How does Aarthi Scans and Labs offer Services at a lower cost?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, affordability is at the heart of our vision:“The cost to diagnose a disease should not make a patient poor, that their treatment becomes unaffordable.” Guided by this principle, we have priced our scans and blood tests 50–60% lower than the market rate, without compromising on quality or accuracy.

    We achieve this through:

    Profit by volume & scale

Serving a large patient base allows us to keep costs low and pass on the benefit directly to patients.

    Efficient use of technology

Automation and digital workflows reduce manual work in reporting, improving speed while cutting costs.

    In-house management

Our leadership operates with in-depth knowledge of local needs, ensuring effective and cost-conscious operations.

    Right-sized infrastructure

We invest wisely in facilities and real estate, avoiding unnecessary overheads.

    Frugal spending

Every rupee is spent with care, prioritizing patient benefit over extravagance.

    Zero-kickback policy

We ensure that our savings is passed directly to the patients instead of intermediaries.

    Ultrasound Scan

An ultrasound scan uses high-frequency sound waves to capture real-time images of organs, blood flow, and pregnancy progress. It is a simple and painless procedure, typically lasting 15 to 30 minutes. Reports are ready within 6 hours, and our cost is usually between ₹1,300 and ₹3,900. As no radiation is involved, ultrasound is one of the safest imaging techniques available.

    What is an Ultrasound scan?

An ultrasound scan is a safe and painless way to view internal organs. It is a procedure that uses inaudible high frequency sound waves to produce diagnostic images. As the sound passes through your body, it produces echoes which a computer then interprets into images. Ultrasound technology does not use radiation.

It is used to view blood vessels, kidneys, liver, uterus, and other organs. Since ultrasound images are captured in real time, they can show the structure and movement of the body’s internal organs as well as the blood flow. Additionally, an ultrasound scan is also used for guidance when biopsies are performed.

When and why is an Ultrasound scan done?

An ultrasound scan is performed to examine internal organs, blood flow, or fetal development during pregnancy. It helps diagnose gallstones, liver and kidney diseases, thyroid issues, and uterine or ovarian conditions. Since ultrasound uses sound waves instead of radiation, it’s safe for pregnant women and ideal for real-time imaging of soft tissues.

What happens before an Ultrasound scan?

Before your ultrasound, our staff will explain the process and guide you on any preparation needed. In some cases, you may be asked to drink water and avoid urinating so that your bladder is full, which helps produce clearer images. For abdominal scans, fasting for a few hours may be required to reduce gas and improve visibility. No special preparation is needed for most other types of Ultrasounds. You’ll be asked to wear comfortable clothing and may need to change into a gown depending on the scan area.

What happens during an Ultrasound scan?

During the scan, you will lie comfortably on an examination table. A clear, water-based gel will be applied to the skin over the area being examined. This gel helps the ultrasound probe (called a transducer) glide smoothly and improves the transmission of sound waves. The transducer sends high-frequency sound waves into your body, which bounce back to create real-time images of your internal organs, tissues, or blood flow. The procedure is completely safe, painless, and usually takes 15–30 minutes.

What happens after an Ultrasound scan?

After the scan, the gel will be wiped off, and you can resume your normal activities right away. There are no side effects or recovery time required. Our radiologist will carefully study the images and prepare a detailed report, which will be sent to your doctor. Reports are usually available within a few hours. Your doctor will then review the results with you and advise if further tests or treatment are necessary.

Who shouldn't get an Ultrasound scan?

    • Pregnant individuals without medical needs
    • People with cancer or total joint replacement
    • Patient with active infection
    • Individuals with pacemakers or implants
