Why does Aarthi Scans & Labs offer services at low prices?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, we strongly believe that the cost of diagnosing a disease should never push a patient into financial hardship or make their treatment unaffordable. Unfortunately, the high cost of diagnostic services across the country often leads to delayed diagnoses, unaffordable tests, and limited access to advanced facilities leaving millions vulnerable.

Our vision is simple yet powerful; no one should suffer because a diagnosis is out of reach. To make this a reality, we have consistently kept our pricing 50–60% lower than the industry average, especially for essential services like MRI Scan, CT Scan, and blood tests. We also provide reduced pricing during night hours, further easing access for patients.

Over the last 36 years, it has been the trust of our patients, their word of mouth, and our unwavering commitment to delivering advanced, compassionate diagnostics that have helped us scale and sustain this model. By combining exceptional diagnostic capabilities with affordability, we continue to fight for a healthcare system where early, accurate diagnosis is accessible to all.

How does Aarthi Scans and Labs offer Services at a lower cost?

At Aarthi Scans and Labs, affordability is at the heart of our vision:“The cost to diagnose a disease should not make a patient poor, that their treatment becomes unaffordable.” Guided by this principle, we have priced our scans and blood tests 50–60% lower than the market rate, without compromising on quality or accuracy.

    We achieve this through:

    Profit by volume & scale

Serving a large patient base allows us to keep costs low and pass on the benefit directly to patients.

    Efficient use of technology

Automation and digital workflows reduce manual work in reporting, improving speed while cutting costs.

    In-house management

Our leadership operates with in-depth knowledge of local needs, ensuring effective and cost-conscious operations.

    Right-sized infrastructure

We invest wisely in facilities and real estate, avoiding unnecessary overheads.

    Frugal spending

Every rupee is spent with care, prioritizing patient benefit over extravagance.

    Zero-kickback policy

We ensure that our savings is passed directly to the patients instead of intermediaries.

    MRI Abdomen and Pelvis Scan

An MRI Abdomen and Pelvis scan gives detailed images of internal organs such as the liver, kidneys, and reproductive structures. The procedure takes 45 to 60 minutes, with a report turnaround time of 6 hours. The cost is around ₹4,500 – ₹5,500, and it involves no radiation, making it a safe and effective diagnostic option.

What is an MRI Abdomen and Pelvis scan?

MRI or magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen and pelvis is a safe, non-invasive and painless scan. An abdomen and pelvis MRI uses three elements to create detailed images of the internal structures of the abdomen and pelvis. They are a magnetic field, radio waves and a specialized computer that collects the signals from the MRI machine and processes them into high-grade images.

When and why is an MRI Abdomen and Pelvis scan done?

An MRI Abdomen and Pelvis scan is performed to evaluate organs such as the liver, pancreas, kidneys, uterus, and bladder. It helps diagnose tumours, cysts, infections, endometriosis, or pelvic inflammatory disease. Doctors recommend it when patients have persistent abdominal pain, bloating, or abnormal test results for a deeper internal view.

What happens before an MRI Abdomen and Pelvis scan?

Before your MRI of the abdomen and pelvis, our medical team will review your medical history and check for any implants, pacemakers, or prior surgeries that may affect the scan. You will be asked to remove jewelry, watches, and metallic objects, as these can interfere with the magnetic field. In some cases, a contrast dye may be injected into a vein to enhance visibility of internal organs, blood vessels, and tissues. Depending on your doctor’s instructions, you may be advised to fast for a few hours prior to the scan to ensure optimal image quality.

What happens during an MRI Abdomen and Pelvis scan?

During the procedure, you will lie flat on a motorized table that slides into the MRI scanner. A special coil will be placed around your abdomen and pelvic area to capture highly detailed images. The scan is painless, but it is important to remain very still, as even small movements can affect image clarity. You may hear loud tapping or thumping sounds from the scanner — this is normal, and earplugs or headphones will be provided for your comfort. At certain points, you may be asked to briefly hold your breath so clearer pictures can be taken of your organs. The entire scan usually takes 30–60 minutes. A technologist will monitor you closely and can communicate with you throughout the procedure.

What happens after an MRI Abdomen and Pelvis scan?

After the scan, you can typically return to your normal activities immediately. If contrast dye was used, you may be advised to drink extra fluids to help flush it out of your system. Our radiologist will carefully analyze the images and prepare a detailed report, which will be shared with your doctor. Reports are usually available within a few hours to a day. Your doctor will then review the results with you and discuss whether further evaluation, treatment, or follow-up is required.
